About Lea

I am a registered psychotherapist based in Auckland, offering psychotherapy in the North Shore in Devonport and Takapuna, and online across Aotearoa New Zealand.

My work is grounded in a relational and psychodynamic approach, with a focus on understanding the deeper patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and our relationships.

I am particularly interested in how early attachment, relational experience, culture and social context, and intergenerational dynamics influence the present often in ways that feel difficult to shift, even with insight. This can include recurring patterns in close relationships, including with partners, family members, or within parent and adult child dynamics.

I hold a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy Studies and have completed clinical training for the Master of Psychotherapy at Auckland University of Technology. I also hold a Bachelor of Social Work from McMaster University and a Master of Health Sciences in Public Health from the University of Toronto in Canada.

I am registered with the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ), and a member of the Association of Psychotherapists of Aotearoa New Zealand and Waka Oranga.

Alongside formal training, my practice continues to be shaped by ongoing clinical work, clinical supervision, and a commitment to reflective practice.

I aim to offer a therapeutic space that is thoughtful, steady, and attuned to the complexity of each person’s unique experience.
